What’s Your Favorite Color? [SHAPED BY FAITH]

When we take time to see the tiniest joys, our glad hearts bring God glory.

My three-year-old is very into color these days, especially everyone’s “favorite colors.”  Her preferred shade is yellow so every time we see something yellow she quickly points it out declaring, “There’s yellow, my favorite color!”  But she doesn’t stop there.  She is also hyper-aware of the favorite colors of the rest of us in the family and points those out to us as well.  She even sets our table with napkins according to our tastes.  “Purple for Mama, green for Daddy, blue for Brother, and yellow for me!  That’s my favorite color.”  Something as simple as color makes her very happy.  Praise God for these little bits of delight!

Life is better when we notice all the little things around us that God gave to us to enjoy and when we celebrate and give thanks for them.  Nothing is ordinary when you pass the credit on to God.  I get to wear a purple shirt today. Whoo Hoo! Thank You, God!
