The auditions are in the books and the playing field is set!  And the 2014 Battle for the Big O finale  will feature twelve of the best acts our annual talent search has ever attracted.  We have $1,000 up for grabs and the chance to open the 2014 Liquid Ninja Big O Music Fest.  And this young lady from Owensboro is one of our youngest finalists ever and she is proof that patience and hard work pay off.  Kennedy McCollam auditioned at two of our Battle auditions and was passed over by the judges.  But, at Beaver Dam Park in Ohio County, Kennedy showed up with guitarist Riley Roth and the two blasted their way into the finale.  Check out the rendition of "Black Horse and a Cherry Tree" that earned them a spot!

Tickets for our finale event, which is Saturday, July 26th at Diamond Lake's Good Time Theatre, will go on sale to the general public on Monday, July 7th . . . at the WBKR studios, Diamond Lake and here at WBKR.com.  Tickets are just $10 per person and we guarantee you an amazing night of music and competition.  And we think Kennedy has the chops to be right there in the mix for the title.

The Battle for the Big O is presented by Henderson Chevy Buick GMC.
