WBKR Battle for the Big O Finalist #12: Daniel Carroll & The Valentears [Video]

The Battle for the Big O finale is coming up 7pm, Saturday, July 26th at Diamond Lake's Good Time Theatre and we really believe we have assembled our strongest Top 12 in the five year history of our annual talent search.  And rounding out the line-up for the final will be The Valentears.  The group's frontman, Daniel Carroll, showed up at our Show Me's of Owensboro audition and topped 19 other acts to earn a spot in the finale.  Check out the version of "Strawberry Wine" that got him there.  This is pretty cool!

The Valentears will join eleven other hopefuls in the Battle for the Big O finale and the show is going to be epic. Tickets for the Battle are just $10 and go on sale Monday, July 7th right here on the website, the WBKR studios and at Diamond Lake.

The champion will earn $1,000 and the chance to open for Hank Williams Jr and the Charlie Daniels Band at the 2014 Liquid Ninja Big O Music Fest, Saturday, August 16th at Reids Orchard in Owensboro.
