WBKR Announces Inaugural Kentucky Made Expo in September

There are a lot of things made in Kentucky.  Bourbon, Louisville Slugger baseball bats, wines, crafts, delicious foods and so much more.  And, this September, WBKR is rounding up some of the best homegrown, homespun and homemade products and putting them all under one roof in an exciting new event!  We are proud to present the 2014 Kentucky Made Expo.  It's coming up Friday, September 5th and Saturday, September 6th at the Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club in Owensboro and we are currently recruiting vendors and exhibitors.

The Kentucky Made Expo is presented in partnership with the Cliff Hagan Boys and Girls Club, which recently instituted the nationwide Formula for Impact, which helps young people focus their efforts in three specific target areas: academic success, good character and citizenship and healthy lifestyles!

We believe our Kentucky Made Expo, with its inclusion of a farmer's market and nutritious, farm-fresh products, is a perfect fit with the healthy lifestyles initiative.  In fact, portions of our proceeds will benefit the Cliff Hagans Boys and Girls Club.
