Throwback Thursday: Dave Spencer’s 1995 Grand Canyon Trip…Complete With Mullet and Pony Tail

As you know, I love to travel. I've visited 44 of our 50 states. (North Dakota's gonna be tricky). On three separate occasions, I have visited Arizona.

And Arizona was the setting for one of my all-time favorite vacations. Some friends of mine and I were traveling to Phoenix to visit a mutual friend and spent some time at the Grand Canyon along the way.

It literally took my breath away when I stepped up to the edge. One of the seven wonders of the world? No kidding. "Astonishing" doesn't cut it.

If you've never been, you must.

So it was a great surprise when I found my pictures from the trip because I hadn't seen them in years and thought they were gone.

Also surprisingly, the envelope contains one of the few pictures I can find of the mullet and pony tail I used to sport.

Hilarious!

What do they say? "Business in the front, party in the back?"

Anyway, that was my 90s look and I'm glad these photos turned up.
