The Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Daviess County Farm Bureau to host this event, which highlights the agricultural community in Owensboro and Daviess County.
The Chamber Ambassadors are often referred to as the "face" of the Chamber. This group of individuals represents a variety of Chamber businesses. Ambassadors are highly active in the events that the Chamber organizes. You have probably noticed the Ambassadors at Ribbon Cuttings, greeting guests at Rooster Booster Breakfasts, participating in our Golf Tournament or Annual Dinner and other events.
The Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce is joining 25 other chambers of commerce to hold the West Kentucky Thank You Night reception on Thursday evening, February 9th, at the Frankfort Convention Center.
The reception begins at 5:00 p.m. EST. A bus will leave Owensboro at 12:30 p.m. local time and it should return at about 9:00 local time to Owensboro. The cost to ride the bus is just $30.

It was announced early today that Jody Wassmer has resigned as the CEO and President of the Chamber. Board Chair Shirley Cecil issued the following Statement:
The Board of Directors of the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce has accepted the resignation of Jody Wassmer, its President and CEO. Jody has certainly provided the leadership to help the Chamber achieve much during recent years, not the least of which is growing the membership to more than 1,000 and being named the 2010 Chamber of the Year. With more than $100 million of investment in Owensboro over the next few years, the Chamber is well positioned to be a strong voice and advocate for business within our community. We are committed to provide
exceptional services, advocacy and leadership to our members.
The Chamber anticipates naming a search committee with the goal of
providing some strong candidates to help lead your Chamber during these
exciting times.
