January 8, 2014, Elvis Presley's 79th Birthday is Wednesday. The "King of Rock 'N Roll", who got his start in country as the "Hillbilly Cat" died in 1977 but his memory is maintained in the minds of his millions of fans across the globe... including mine. From the website of the Country Music Hall of Fame, we have learned Gordon Stoker, tenor singer for Country Music Hall of Fame vocal group the Jordanaires, died this morning at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
Gordon was 88.
