Snow Covered Highways and Inclement Weather in Eastern Kentucky – Motorists Beware

Attention travelers heading eastward across I-64 and/or I-40, you are likely to encounter snow covered highways, particularly at elevations above 2000 ft. Elevation. Due to the inclement weather in the northeast, winter-like conditions are being pushed through eastern Kentucky and West Virginia. We advise that you drive carefully and watch for black ice. If you find that condensation is building up on the inside of your windshield, try turning on your air conditioner to clear the moisture – you may use the warm setting.
