I was in Louisville Monday. You know Monday, right? The Monday after Louisville beat St. Louis and Kentucky beat Wichita State setting up a Sweet 16 matchup between the Wildcats and the Cardinals? Yeah, THAT Monday.

Man, oh man, oh Manischewitz. It's happening again. Pat Forde of Yahoo! Sports calls it Bluegrass Armageddon II. He ain't just whistlin' Dixie or, I guess, My Old Kentucky Home.

Jefferson County, Kentucky--of which Louisville is the seat--is a house divided when it comes to Cats vs. Cards. That one's for the casual observer. That's right. When I was there, I saw just as many Kentucky sweatshirts/hoodies as I did Louisville garb. And that was right there on Bardstown Road, in the heart of the city.

For those deeply involved in or deeply familiar with this rivalry, none of that should come as a surprise.

Nor should what popular eatery Skyline Chili has added to its menu.

Skyline's three Louisville locations have added blue and red spaghetti to the menu to celebrate the big Kentucky/Louisville Sweet 16 game Friday night.

No, it doesn't look appetizing, but it IS just food coloring. However, I'd imagine there are many who won't care one bit.

I bet they're selling out.

Blue spaghetti and red spaghetti.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I LOVE THIS RIVALRY!!
