Sarah Brightman – Cosmonaut Coming to Cincinnati

I hardly ever get excited about concerts anymore. The best one I ever saw was Frank Sinatra at Caesar’s Palace. And, I have seen every country artist. Oh, and Elvis three times including 1955! So, impress me. Well, here it is: Sarah Brightman, voice of an angel, is coming to Cincinnati March 5. In case you don’t know, over the past two and a half decades, Sarah Brightman has distinguished herself as the world’s biggest selling soprano of all time with global sales reaching over 30 million. She has received more than 180 gold and platinum awards in over 40 countries. She is the only artist to have simultaneously topped the Billboard dance and classical music charts. She was also the first artist to have been invited to perform the official theme songs at the Olympic Games on two occasions. The first was at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games which was followed 16 years later by a performance at the opening ceremony in Beijing.
Brightman will perform live on Tuesday, March 5 at the Aronoff Center in Cincinnati. She also has a highly anticipated new album “Dreamchaser,” which will be released on January 22, 2013.
Here is what she had to say about her album: “I am incredibly excited to be sharing this new music and to be able to give a taste of what is to come on the album in January. Angel is a track that is very dear to me, as it lends voice to some of the hopes I have for the next stage of my career whilst casting an eye right back to my childhood. There are some incredible plans afoot and the scale of this song matches the scope of my ambitions for the next 2 or 3 years.”
In January of 2013, Brightman will begin her “Dreamchaser” World Tour which will touch upon 5 continents and include over 100 concert dates.
