Some Kentucky fans tried to get into Rupp Arena Tuesday night to watch the 'Cats play Texas A&M. But they were turned away at the door.

They had their tickets, but what they didn't realize until those tickets were examined is that they were fake.

At least one fraud report was filed and Lexington police are talking to the buyers in order to learn who sold these bogus tickets.

The financial crimes unit of the Lexington Police Department is now handling the case and is trying to determine if this seller unloaded OTHER fake tickets.

University officials always encourage fans to purchase tickets through the school or Ticketmaster to avoid the potential for fraud.

Kentucky will next play Georgia--a sold-out game--at Rupp Arena this Saturday.
