While the first of the five parts of Owensboro film production company Verite Cinema's horror anthology Volumes of Blood has been finished, the completion of the project was up in the air...until now.

Verite Cinema's proprietor P.J. Starks had helmed a fundraising effort--a Kickstarter program--to raise enough money so that production of the film project could continue.

Had Starks and company not hit their goal, production on the collection of short films would have had to shut down.

Not a prospect anyone wants to entertain, certainly.

And now the creators involved with Volumes of Blood don't have to worry about that.

I just saw THIS Facebook post which went up one hour ago, as of this writing:

So I congratulate P.J. and his team and I cannot wait to see the finished product!
