OPD Continues Crackdown on Synthetic Pot

On May 9, 2012 at approximately 3:45 p.m. the Owensboro Police Department

Traff in Synthetic Cannabinoid Agonists or Piperazines – Class A Misdemeanor

Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess – Class A Misdemeanor

Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at 2217 Lancaster Avenue.

The search produced a large amount of suspected marijuana, one handgun, one

rifle, one shotgun, drug paraphernalia, and over 600 individual packs of

synthetic marijuana.

   The resident, Phillip R. Hester, was located a short time later at 225 Heartwood Court, and was arrested on the below listed charges. Hester is lodged at the Daviess County Detention Center.
