Neblett Center’s Toast of the Town Event Returns

The 2011 Toast of the Town event returns to Owensboro Friday and Saturday August 26 and 27.  The fundraiser for the H.L. Neblett Community Center features local folks as the entertainment. This year city and county officials, business leaders, citizens and area youth will participate by displaying their dance, musical and lip sync talents.

Friday night is Adult Night with "acts" starring adults. On Saturday night it's time for the youth to shine. Tickets are $15 for either night of entertainment with a $25 ticket gettting you both nights of fun.

There will be door prizes, some great photo opportunities, red carpet interviews (as the celebrities enter the auditorium) and lots of fun.

I understand Aretha, Beyonce, The Temptations, Dolly are all on the lineup this year.

World Famous Jazz Musician and Neblett Center Executive Director Greg Black will play his Rhythm Harp (Harmonica to you and me).
