Getting ready for college is a stressful time. Not only is there the stress of finding the school that has the programs you need, but then there is finding the funds to help pay for school.

While there are a number of paths to help you with paying for college, not all will work for every person. Find the programs you qualify for takes a lot of time and research. One of the latest tools that you will need to fill out is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). There are a lot of great grants and financial aid programs that this tool can help you with, but it can be a daunting task to fill out the forms. And then there is the worry about not filling it correctly.

Kentucky Wesleyan College is providing free assistance to families in applying for college financial aid during College Goal Kentucky. This Saturday, January 14, from 2-5pm, parents and students can file or update their FAFSA at no cost. The program will be held on the KWC campus in the Winchester Community Center. Enrollment to KWC is not required to receive the free assistance.
