I have known Mike West for many years. We have traveled around the globe to bring Motorsport Entertainment to millions. Mike is from Alliance Ohio and for some reason folks in that part of the country live speed. While I announce and from time to time drive a race car, motorcycle or monster truck for fun, Mike likes to make thing go fast, really really fast. Enter Wild West Entertainment.

Mike is the one guy in the World who puts jet engines on strange and unusual things. Golf Carts, Snow Mobiles, Lazyboy Recliners, Bar Stools, you name it and Mike more than likely has attached or at least thought about attaching a jet engine to it.

Mike is also the brains and many times driver behind Megasaurus, a three story , 50,000 lb. beast that breaths fire and eats cars. Yes, Mike is certainly an interesting fellow.

This past weekend, while Mike was entertaining folks in Barcelona Spain with his Teed Off Jet Golf Cart, Kathy and  I saw his newest accomplishment.

A Jet Powered Smart Car. Kathy wanted one until I pointed out that there was no room for packages after shopping.

The JSC (Jet Smart Car) is a bit different as it is STILL STREET LEGAL. It has Ohio Plates and can be driven on the road because it has the origional motor still in it. They took out the passengers seat to add the jet and made a few changes to reinforce the rear end but it is still a driveable car. So long as you don't fire up the military helicopter jet turbine mounted next to the driver.

Mike doesn't anticipate a big demand for the JSC but he will be more than happy build you one in any color you want.

If you want to see the other goodies in Mike's Garage just click on the link. You might even see me with him in Philadelphia earlier this summer. (I am the one running out of the way in the red and black shirt.)

Mike honed his jet skills while working with the Legendary Art Arfons. Art and his family hold many records for jet powered vehicles. Art held the record at the Bonneville Salt Flats and was a superhero in tractor pulling.

Mike and Art's son Tim worked together for many years. Finally Mike West went out on his own, building jet quads, Jeeps and other vehicles before becoming the P.T. Barnum of the his own Jet Powered Menagerie.
