Friday After 5 – Tonight its Discfunktn’l Groove

Discfunktn'l Groove is set to be bringing some disco to downtown Owensboro!  It's the 11th installment of the Friday after 5 series this year.  They will begin playing the disco hits at 6:30pm.  Kirk Kirkpatrick says "It's the most fun Friday After 5 of all of them".  Later saying that "They are a great band and they can put on a great show".

Also coming up tonight Darby Hass will be on the Atmos Energy Courtyard Uni-First Stage from 7-10.  The Don Moore Over-look stage will host "Blind Corn Liquor Pickers from 7-10 as well.

Gospel on the river will feature Paul Moseley and Friends, Gospel Harmony Boys Quartet at the RiverPark's Cannon Hall.

The Kroger Street Fair will begin at 6pm in Smothers Park.  The theme this week is "Single among friends, let's dance."  Kirk Kirkpatrick says "We want to invite everybody who's single to come down and just dance"
