The Evansville IceMen announce today that forwards Jakub Culek and Danny Hobbs have been recalled by the Binghamton Senators, while acquiring forward Wes Myron in a trade with the Tulsa Oilers in exchange for future considerations.

Hobbs and Culek split time between Binghamton and the ECHL last season. Hobbs had a goal and two assists in 13 games for the IceMen’s new AAA affiliate in 2013-14. Culek has suited up for Binghamton 10 times over the past two seasons.

Both were key in the IceMen’s victory over the Indy Fuel last Saturday with Hobbs scoring a goal and assisting on another. Culek added a helper with a cross-ice feed that set up Hobbs’ goal.

Hailing from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, 22-year-old forward Wes Myron played three games for the Oilers this season picking up an assist. He spent the previous two seasons with Kalamazoo, scoring two goals and helping on 11 others for the Wings in 28 games.

The IceMen are on the road in Indianapolis Halloween Night for game two in a three-game series against the Fuel before heading back to the Ford Center Saturday night to wrap up the series.

Tickets for Saturday's game are available at the Ford Center box office, and online through Ticketmaster.

Hear both games on ESPN Evansville 105.3 and online at ESPNevansville.com with coverage beginning at 6:20 Friday evening, and 7:00 Saturday night.
