With the legislative session under way, there are a lot of items on the agenda for area legislators.  If you would like to find out what they are working on, and ask questions, you have a chance this Saturday.

The Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce will hold a Legislative Forum this Saturday, January 25, beginning at 8am. The event will be held at the Commerce Center Conference Room, located at 200 East Third Street.

The event is designed as an opportunity for business and the general public to get together, get involved, and find out information about the decisions being made in the capitol. Area legislators will be on hand to discuss current bills and the budget, which are on the legislative agenda.

The forum will open with comments from each legislator, followed by questions being taken from the floor through a moderator.  Senator Joe Bowen, Representative Tommy Thompson, Representative Suzanne Miles, and Representative Jim Glenn have been confirmed to attend. Other legislators have also been invited. For more information you can contact the chamber at 926-1860.
