My friends just rocked out Halloween.  Seriously.  I had a blast going through Facebook over the weekend and seeing what everyone dressed up as.  Some costumes were hilarious.  Some were clever.  And some were downright horrifying.  I decided to share some of my favorites here at WBKR.com.  I wanted you guys to be able to see what I had the chance to see.  So, here it is.  My version of Fashion Police!  LOL!  The Halloween edition.  Major props to these guys and gals!!

Honorable Mention- First Security Bank

I appreciate anyone who can multitask.  And I have to give a huge shout-out to my friend Amy Jackson and the folks at First Security Bank (South Frederica).  They not only celebrated Halloween but they used it as an excuse to market who they are and what they do.  Looking good, Money Bags!

#10-  Shannon Potts Franco

loading...

Get it?  Insanely clever and fun!  Shannon makes the Top Ten with her costume: Formal Apology!  Lol.  I love it.  And, she looks amazing . . . as always.  Who could deny her a treat (or, let's be real, a trick!)

#9- Traci and Nathan Knott

loading...

LOVE THIS!  Traci and Nathan Knott gave us some 1980's action figure realness with a tribute to He-Man and his right-hand gal, She-Ra!  And, I have to point out that they rocked these costumes out at Jerry and Vickie Morris' Halloween party to benefit St. Jude.  Great costumes for a great cause and over $1,200 raised!  By the power of Grayskull!

#8- Zach Ledbetter

My radio buddy Zach (from Cookeville, TN) gave a whole new meaning to "taking the bull by the horns!"  Lol.  I love this costume.  This visual is hilarious and, depending on which angle you're seeing it from, it can be quite inappropriate.  :)

#7-  Josh White

loading...

I basically watched Josh grow up and I don't remember him being this hairy.  But I have to say, this make-up job is crazy good.  Josh is a Halloween party buff and throws one every year.  But it's hard for any guest to look as good as the host.  His Wolfman looks like the real deal.  Someone shove a silver bullet into a shotgun chamber!

#6-  Jeremiah Smith

loading...

I ran into Jeremiah Saturday at Collector Con and we chatted about this awesome costume.  And here's how it came about.  Jeremiah said, "I was broke."  Well, it worked.  The Joker is spooky enough and Jeremiah had created that costume for a Collector Con photo shoot.  But poking out his eyeballs and turning him into a zombie is even freakier.  Broke or not . . . Jeremiah's costume is right on the money.  Love it.

#5-  Sammy Tanner (a.k.a Patti Melt)

loading...

Oh how I love Patti Melt!  My friend Sammy's drag alter-ego is literally one of my favorite things on this planet.  She only makes appearances a couple of times each year but every single one is worth the wait.  #yaaasss #flawless #werk  Oh, by the way, pray for Patti.  She fell and sprained a knee.

#4- Shawn Kohrs

We all know that I absolutely abhor clowns.  And THIS is one of the many reasons why.  My friend Shawn's take on a killer clown is one of the most horrifying things I saw this entire Halloween season.  And, that's saying alot considering that a couple of weeks ago I was chased through the Hollow of Unrest by clowns with power tools.  But this costume is simply terrifying.  Thank goodness he lives in St. Louis.  If I had seen this in person, I would be institutionalized. #ICan't #TheyAllDieDownHere

#3-  Tamarra and Ryan Miller

loading...

Like my friend Shannon's costume, this one is insanely clever.  Ryan and Tamarra Miller dressed up as Bob Ross and one of his Happy Trees!  I grew up watching this guy paint happy trees on PBS and this was an awesome throwback and tribute.

#2- Thi-Ly Downing Hayes and Friends

loading...

Hocus Pocus!!  Major props to my dear friend Thi-Ly Hayes from Salt Lake City.  She and her friends are dead ringers for the three witches from Hocus Pocus.  So many people I know LOVE this movie.  And I personally LOVE these costumes!  I am spellbound.

#1- Kim Greer Huckleberry

loading...

It was dress up day at the Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center and my friend Kim cut up the competition.  LOL!  This is my absolute favorite costume I saw this year.  I think she nailed Edward Scissorhands- from the jacked up hair to the jacked up hands.  #Don'tShakeHerHands #IsFantasticSamsHiring?

Major props, Gang!  Kudos to everyone!!  And I (we) can't wait to see what you're gonna look like on Halloween 2015!
