This is pretty awesome.  The Band Perry has teamed up with Celebrate My Drive for a really cool contest that promotes a simple concept- 2N2.  That stands for keeping two eyes on the road and two hands on the wheel.  More teenagers die in car crashes than  any other cause and Celebrate My Drive is committed to reducing distracted driving by asking high school students to make safe driving commitments.  And there are some really cool prizes up for grabs for the high schools that get the most commitments!

I ran into Daviess County High School student Hayley Beth Payne over the weekend and she filled me in on the Celebrate My Drive campaign.  There are fantastic incentives for the 3,284 schools participating this year and the ones that gather the most safe driving commitments.  Among the prizes- Ninety $25,000 grants, ten $100,000 grants, and two school concerts by The Band Perry!

Hayley is hoping that the students at Daviess County High School and folks in our community will come through and make their safe driving commitments.  The window to make those commitments is October 15th through October 24th!

To support Daviess County High School's endeavor and to make your safe driving commitment, CLICK HERE!  You must register, choose Daviess County High School, then make your commitment.  You can commit once per day per email address through next Friday, October 24th.

Celebrate My Drive is powered by State Farm Insurance.
