The title is out of total respect and love for my friends who are seasoned travelers. Well, here I am, almost two days away from flying for the first time and I'm actually feeling fine. Now that may change once I go to board, but for now, I'm calm and I'm excited.

Holiday World has added many perks for its guests over the years such as free parking, free soft drinks, free sunscreen, and even free wi-fi. This year, they are adding an even bigger perk, they are letting guests pick their own prices for discounted tickets.

This weekend, I stayed in a hotel with suites and then I stayed at a 100 plus year-old bed and breakfast way off the beaten path. They had two very different sets of accommodations.

This past weekend, my husband and I hopped on a flight to New Orleans for a four-day getaway. Since we only had four days, we had to cram a whole lotta N'leans in a short amount of time. Since I had been before, I wanted to try some different things. Here are the highlights.

I'll admit, I was pretty much terrified to go out alone but I soon learned my way around and was quite excited to go and do - even alone.
