Owensboro’s Jason Koger Shows Off Bionic Hands on CNN with Dr. Sanjay Gupta [Video]

Earlier this year, Jason Koger's bionic hands were the star of an episode on Hawaii Five-0.  Now, he's landed on national television again.  Yesterday, the Owensboro resident appeared on CNN with Dr. Sanjay Gupta and showed off his brand new set of bionic hands.  Believe it or not, Jason's new set of hands, courtesy of Touch Bionics, can be controlled and programmed with a phone app.  Check this out!

Ms. Edith Bennett, born June 21, 1931 passed away today, April 12, 2013.

Edith worked at WOMI since November 28, 1950, when she first began to work on Radio Church Chapel, heard on WOMI Sunday Morning from 5:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. for over 52 years.

Time To Fly A Kite

Now that spring is finally here (or at least has made an appearance), the thoughts of outdoor activities have started popping up! And with the wind we have had the last few days it might be a fun idea to go fly a kite!

DCHS Band Of Pride Fundraiser SATURDAY Night

The Daviess County Band of Pride is hosting a fundraiser event Saturday night! All band families and friends are invited to the auction and dinner this Saturday, April 13th, at Pangea Cafe and Catering.  Dinner starts at 6:00pm. There will be a silent auction and a live auction.  This is one of their biggest fundraisers of the year.  Money raised is used to fund the fall marching season.
