All-America City Quilt To Visit Owensboro

Love quilts and Owensboro?!? Well, you'll love this! Ha! Ok, all joking aside, the city of Owensboro was honored in 2013 with being named an All-America City.

The All-America City quilt will visit Owensboro, Kentucky from January 4th-11th. Each year, finalists in the All-America City Award program are asked to submit quilt squares representing something special about their communities. The squares are stitched together into a quilt, which tours the country visiting each finalist town, city, county or region. The quilt will be on display during business hours, which are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Owensboro City Hall.
