ALDI Conducting Hiring Events in July and August

In May, it was announced that discount supermarket chain, ALDI, was coming to Owensboro. In fact, work has already begun out on Highway 54 between Highland Elementary School and Wal-Mart

Now, ALDI--known as the nation's low-price leader according to a survey of more than 6500 consumers conducted in May of 2013--will once again be conducting hiring events.

On Friday, July 25th, from 11AM to 3PM and on Friday, August 8th, from 11AM to 3PM, ALDI will conduct a hiring event at the Courtyard by Marriott on Highland Pointe Drive in Owensboro.

Here are relevant details you need to know:

Positions:                                                                                                                                    • Store Associates (full time) - $11.00 per hour
• Shift Managers (full time) - $16.00 per hour

Job Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and
10 p.m., Monday -Sunday
• Retail experience preferred
• Drug screening and background check
• Ability to lift 45 pounds
