Someone is oblivious to the fact that they are now a millionaire, and the Hoosier Lottery says that if the person who purchased the winning $1 million ticket, here in southern Indiana, doesn’t claim their prize soon, they will forever miss out on their chance to claim their prize.

According to lottery officials, the winning ticket for the April 10 Powerball drawing was purchased at a Circle K convenience store in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The ticket matched all five numbers, but did not have the correct Powerball number.

It has been nearly six months since the drawing, and officials say the lucky winner has not yet come forward to claim the winnings. Of course, this could end up being bad news for the ticket holder because if the $1 million prize is not claimed by Monday at 5pm, it will have surpassed the 180-day deadline.

So, if you have purchased a Powerball ticket in southern Indiana within the past six months, we strongly advise checking the numbers just to make sure you are not foolishly sandbagging on to a winning ticket. That is, unless you have no use for $1 million.

The winning numbers for the unclaimed ticket are: 1-36-40-52-53 and Powerball 20.
